Program Founder Jordan Griffin

A native of Erlanger, Kentucky, Jordan played his high school basketball at St. Henry before playing collegiately at Coastal Carolina. Since his playing career ended, Jordan has opened Griffin Elite Sports and Wellness in Erlanger, where he serves as director of basketball operations. Jordan is one of the best skills trainers in America, having trained several NBA pros and high major D1 players. Jordan does skills training with athletes all the way down to the elementary school level and can be booked for training by contacting him at jordan@griffinelite.com

Program Director / 17u Head Coach

Steve Quattrocchi

With more than a decade of coaching experience, Coach Q has coached every level from middle school to college. He has coached AAU since 2013 and has had over 50 former players go on to the college level, including over 30 at the NCAA Division I level. He has also been lucky enough to coach 2019, 2020 and 2021 Kentucky Mr Basketballs. After being part of successful AAU programs for several years, Steve co-founded the Griffin Elite program in 2019 where he serves as the 17u coach and program director. Steve and his wife Rachel reside in Georgetown, Ky.

Coach Robbie Graham

Robbie Graham has been a pivotal part of the Griffin program since its inception. Coach Graham played college basketball at Vanderbilt before starting a long and very successful coaching career. As the girl’s coach at George Rogers Clark high school, Robbie has won 8 district titles, 5 regional titles and has made two KHSAA Final Fours. Coach Graham has coached several players who have gone on to the collegiate level on both the boys and girls side. Robbie lives in Winchester with his wife Deena. His daughter Lexus was a standout player and now is a D1 coach at Bellarmine University. His son Jordan is currently playing at Olney Junior College.

Coach Steve Hatton

A native of Estill County, Kentucky, Coach Hatton played basketball at Clarksville High School in Indiana where he graduated as the all time leading scorer and rebounder in school history. A 1994 graduate of Transylvania University, Steve scored over 1,000 points in his college career. Coach Hatton was also a high school coach before moving into administration where he now serves as assistant Superintendent at Harrison County Schools in Indiana. Steve spent multiple years coaching AAU with Indiana Elite where he had multiple D1 players. He has been married to his wife Emily for 22 years. Both his children are currently playing D1 basketball. His daughter Lilly is playing at Wofford College while his son LT is playing at William & Mary.

Coach Antonio Rogers

Antonio “Tony” Rogers was a three year varsity starter at Butler High school. Tony went on to play college basketball at Indiana University Southeast where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics. Coach Rogers has nearly a decade of coaching experience including 7 years coaching AAU basketball. Coach Rogers joined the Griffith Elite AAU program in 2021 where he was the 16U co-head coach.  Additionally, Tony has trained both boys and girls at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Tony lives in Louisville and has had both of his sons go on to play college basketball. Antonio Jr. played at IU Southeast and Jaden is currently playing at Central Missouri.

Coach Trey Moses

Coach Moses will rejoin Griffin Elite following his professional season in Cyprus. Trey attended Eastern High School in Louisville and played AAU for Coach Quattrocchi in his 17u season as part of the Hoop Dreams program. Trey chose to attend Ball State after being offered a dozen D1 scholarships. At Ball State, Moses had a great career, where he is 1st all time in games played, 2nd in blocks, 2nd in assists by a non guard and one of the few players with 1000 points, 900 rebounds and 250 assists. He is currently in his 3rd year professionally in Cyprus. He spent the last two years in Bulgaria/Australia and Portugal. Trey was also the recipient of the 2020 NCAA Inspiration Award.Trey was our 17u assistant coach two years ago and our 16u head coach last year.

Coach Jay Bordas

Coach Jay Bordas enters his second year in the Griffin Elite organization. He is a Tates Creek High School Assistant Coach entering his third season on the Creek Staff, and his 21st year overall coaching. Previously, Coach Bordas has been an assistant coach at Lafayette High School, and Henry Clay High School, as well as the head coach at LTMS, Southern Middle and Bourbon County High School. Jay has coached AAU ball in Central Kentucky for several years, from elementary to high school age groups. Coach Bordas is a born and raised Lexingtonian. He played basketball at Henry Clay HS (graduated in 1999). Currently, Coach Bordas is employed as the Dean of Students at Bryan Station High School.

Coach Brent Perry

Coach Perry is one of the bright young coaches in the game and has a passion for helping young men pursue their dream of playing at the next level. Brent scored over 1,200 career points in his high school career and was an all region player at Barbourville before playing 2 years at University of the Cumberlands. Coach Perry is in his third season as a high school coach and coach AAU for the first time in the 2022 season. 

Coach Idris White

Coach White brings a ton of coaching experience to the program. A native of Illinois, Idris played 2 years of Junior College before finishing his career at Oakton College after a decorated high school career. Coach White has been coaching AAU for over a decade in addition to being the head coach at Browning Springs Middle in Madisonville and an assistant coach at Madisonville-North Hopkins high school.

Coach Rob Stinebruner

Coach Stinebruner is a 1987 graduate of Carroll County high school where he passed on offers to play college basketball in order to study Electrical Engineering at the University of Louisville Speed School. Rob has been a coach at various levels of basketball dating back to 1995 and has won middle school state championships and several big time events in Louisville including the Louisville City Championship, the Junior LIT and the Junior King of the Bluegrass. Coach Stinebruner has coached his 2024 group for several years and had a lot of success.

Coach Michael James

Coach James comes to the Griffin Elite program after a decorated playing career and successful high school coaching career. Coach James played at Apollo High School and for the prestigious Oak Hill Academy before going on to Bevill Community College and Florida International University. As a professional, Michael has played for the Kentucky Bison as well as in Beijing, China for multiple seasons.

Coach Ryne Tinsley

Coach Tinsley joins the Griffin Elite family with a team headquartered out of Owensboro. Ryne has a wealth of playing and coaching experience on his resume. As a player, Coach Tinsley was all-district at both Grayson County and Glasgow. Ryne was an All-Region Performer who played College Basketball for 2 seasons at Brescia University. He was named to the KIAC All-Academic Team.
